Working principle of centrifugal pump

Before the pump starts, fill the pump and inlet pipe with water. After the pump runs, under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, the water in the impeller flow passage is thrown around and pressed into the volute. A vacuum is formed at the inlet of the impeller. The water in the pool is absorbed along the suction pipe under the external atmospheric pressure to supplement this space. Then the water sucked in is thrown out by the impeller and enters the outlet pipe through the volute. It can be seen that if the impeller of the centrifugal pump rotates continuously, the water can be continuously absorbed and pressed, and the water can be lifted from the low to the high or far away. To sum up, centrifugal pumps are called centrifugal pumps because they lift water to a higher place under the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller.
