General

ZX-P3-01 is intended for improving the cold flow properties of Diesels. Both the CFPP and Pour Point of diesel and even light heating oils can be considerably reduced with appropriated treat rate. The product is concentrated and should be diluted before use with naphtha or kerosene.

Composition

Ethylene vinyl ester polymer.

Product properties

Appearance

Milky to pale yellow viscous liquid

Density

Approx. 0.91 g/cm3 at 60 ℃ (DIN 51757)

Viscosity

Approx. 125 mPa*s at 140 ℃ (DIN 51562)

Pour Point

Approx. 35 ℃ (DIN ISO 3016)

Flash Point

Approx. 100 ℃ (DIN 53213)

Application

Solubility (at 50 ℃)

Totally soluble in aromatic and aromatic-rich fractions. With aliphatic-rich fractions miscibility tests are recommended before use. Insoluble in water and methanol.

Dosage Rate

The dosage rates required are very much dependent on the characteristics of the diesels. Normally 100- 600 ppm is recommended and may be up to 1000 ppm in special case based on 50% product.

Field of application

ZX-P3-01 is suitable after dilution for both summer and winter oils. It is particularly intended for diesels and light heating oils having both a narrow boiling range and a wider range distillate.

Blending temperature

Before use ZX-P3-01 should be diluted about 1:1 with naphtha or kerosene at a temperature of 40-60℃ even higher. If the temperature is lower than 40℃, a further dilution will be necessary to around a ratio of 1:2 even 1:3. The diesels should be at least 10℃ above its cloud point when the diluted additives are injecting.

Packing

200L steel drum or 1000L IBC or per clients' request

Storage

ZX-P3-01 may be stored practically indefinitely when in closed containers.

Safety and handling

ZX-P3-01 is intended for technical use only. Avoid physical contact. Use gloves and goggles for protection. During transport in road tankers the product is heated to temperatures up to 60 and may cause burns if spilled on the skin. Material spilled on the skin should be washed off with soap and plenty of water. If splashed in the eye rinse with copious quantities of Water.

Keep containers closed when not in use. Avoid contact with water. Keep away from sparks and open flame. Do not smoke. Empty containers may hold gases that form explosive mixtures with air.
